With traditional sunbathing and sunbeds now widely known to be harmful, spray tanning has become one of the most sought-after beauty treatments in the UK. This course gives you the skills to build a career around it.

You'll get hands-on with the equipment tanning technicians use, the techniques for applying solution evenly, how to prepare clients beforehand, and how to help a tan last longer — alongside the health and safety knowledge every spray tan technician needs.

Course Structure

This course runs over one day from 10am – 4pm; please arrive at 9.45am for a prompt start. You'll cover the theory first, then spend the majority of the day practising. A model is required to practise your technique on.

What qualification will you receive?

On successful completion of your training you'll receive an ABT-accredited diploma in the treatment. This demonstrates your commitment to the training and allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance, so you can start offering the treatment to paying clients from home, mobile, or salon.
