Our Swedish Body Massage Training Course teaches the most requested full-body massage routine offered by holistic therapists today. You'll learn the theory and practical skills to confidently deliver both an affordable Express Body Massage and a more luxurious Spa Full Body Massage, tailored to each client's needs.

Course Structure

This course runs over one day from 10am – 4pm; please arrive at 9.45am for a prompt start. You'll cover the theory first, then spend the majority of the day practising, with a short lunch break. A model is required to practise your massage techniques on.

Course Benefits

Using a mix of basic and advanced massage movements plus acupressure points, you'll learn to deliver a treatment that stimulates circulation, promotes relaxation and eases common ailments like stress, fatigue and muscle pain. It's a treatment clients tend to rebook regularly, so it builds a steady, returning client base. Working from home or mobile, massage therapists can earn up to £50 an hour.

Course Requirements

Suitable for complete beginners — no prior beauty training needed. You'll give and receive treatments as part of the course; students work on each other, so no models are required unless training 1-to-1. Privacy screens are used throughout, and if you'd prefer a same-sex-only training day for religious or personal reasons, contact us before booking so we can arrange the best date for you. All products and tools are provided on the day; just bring a hand and bath towel, your completed enrolment form and cold food for lunch. Tea and coffee are provided.

What qualification will you receive?

On successful completion of your training you'll receive an ABT-accredited diploma in the treatment. This demonstrates your commitment to the training and allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance, so you can start offering the treatment to paying clients from home, mobile, or salon.
