Our Manicure and Pedicure Training Course teaches two of the most-requested treatments in the beauty industry, to a genuinely professional standard. These are fundamental skills for any nail technician or beauty therapist, in demand year-round across all client ages. The course also covers luxury add-ons — warm oil, paraffin wax, hand and foot masks, and heated mitts and booties — so you can offer a tailored, relaxing service.

Course Structure

This course runs over one day from 10am – 4pm; please arrive at 9.45am for a prompt start. You'll cover the theory first, then spend the majority of the day practising, with a short lunch break.

Course Requirements

Suitable for complete beginners — no prior beauty training needed. You'll give and receive treatments as part of the course, so please remove any nail extensions, polish or gel polish beforehand. Some luxury elements are taught by tutor demonstration; no models are required. All products and tools are provided; just bring a hand and bath towel, your completed enrolment form and cold food for lunch. Tea and coffee are provided.

What qualification will you receive?

On successful completion of your training you'll receive an ABT-accredited diploma in the treatment. This demonstrates your commitment to the training and allows you to obtain Public Liability Insurance, so you can start offering the treatment to paying clients from home, mobile, or salon.
